My Journey

I graduated in 2013 with my Master's degree in educational management, achieved my bachelor degree in English Literature and foreign languages in 2005, and graduated from business school in 2000. I am a resourceful and well-organized person who really enjoys delivering a fun teaching platform for the students. In particular, I am fascinated in Adobe Design and Adobe Illustrator, especially using technology as a learning tool, which is why I am currently doing my traineeship in UNITAR and my doctorate degree in University of Geneva for teaching and learning in Technologies and a second major in brand and marketing course in GSEM.

My duty in UNITAR is doing technical support for Innovation Collaboration for development of web 2.0 and social media networking for online courses. My doctorate research field is regarding the application program for educational mobile technologies. My first career was an English teacher in Lincoln American School in 2006, then in Malaysia as a secondary school English teacher in 2006. I have been trained to manage students and administration. In fact, I am a Christian. Each day I worked and prayed for all the students and I hope they can be mature and ready for their future. Getting by and surviving are not enough for the secondary school which I taught is an independent school and we don't receive any governmental funding thus we have to do fundraising annually. We came out with a various of brainstorm methods to encourage students to get the mission done.

After 4 years of hard work I decided to switch my career to Job Hunt's training organization to gain better methodology and experience in order to tailor and consolidate training programs to satisfy the demand of various industries. In these organizations, I learned how to deal with conflicts, manage budgets, and analyze policies, budgets and needs; I then determined the most suitable paths and programs for various industries and organizations, especially in training, education, financial management, and development.

After this work I received an excellent opportunity to become a curriculum specialist cum trainer after I achieved my Master's degree. I also worked part time in the Dutch embassy in Malaysia with a focus on investment in the Netherlands. This experience expanded my view and exposed me to a more globalized environment in Malaysia. These organizations helped me develop as a strong information organizer and to understand the importance of technology's learning. Over the years, I have learned invaluable knowledge related to project management and social media networking.

I speak 4 languages. Mandarin is my mother tongue and English is my second language. I have achieved UNESCO scholarship for exploring Japanese culture for a year, thus I'm able to speak Japanese. I'm currently having my B1-B2 level of French course in UNIGE as well. I hope this will increase my credit for this position. Plus, my work and research helped me develop a thorough insight for branding and business, and returned to the business world due to the urgent demand for further growth in my country, especially for marketing and events. It enabled me to understand and identify the key to learn in fun and management in every industry. I believe that the core value above all is to respect the value of life, which will bring dignity and prosperity to all brands and human lives.
